What types of accounts can I view online? 

Effective Monday, October 20, 2025, the Performance Finance portal will display loan accounts only. In order to view your high yield savings account online you are required to enroll at www.olsecond.com or at Enrollment - Old Second National Bank

Statements and Payments

When will I receive my statement?

The monthly billing statements are mailed approximately 20 days prior to each monthly due date. 

Can I have monthly payments automatically deducted from my bank account?

For an external transfer, please log in to our Online Service to set up an ACH transfer. If you have an account with Old Second National Bank and wish to transfer funds from that account, please complete this form and submit it to [email protected] or mail to P.O. Box 5108, Oak Brook, IL 60522-5108. 

Can I pay my monthly payment online?

Yes, you can pay online, free of charge with your checking or savings account information. Visit our Manage My Account page to get started.

Can I make payments on a holiday or weekend?

Payments can only be processed on business days. This will affect the dates available to select when scheduling your payments.

What happens if my payment deduction date falls on a non-business day?

It will occur on the next business day. Our business days are every Monday - Friday, excluding Federal holidays.

How do I link a deposit account in online banking to pay my loan? 

In the upper right-hand corner of the page, click your name. Choose 'Settings'. Under Linked accounts, click on 'Link a new account' Choose either 'Instant Verification' or 'Manual Verification' based on your preference. Follow onscreen instructions to complete the process.

How do I transfer money or make a payment from my deposit account to my Performance Finance account?

From the main dashboard, select the 'Transfer' option, then click 'Transfer & Pay' to begin. Provide the amount you wish to transfer and choose the accounts you want to transfer between and View your Transfer Limits and Disclosures. Click 'Next'.  On the following screen, set the transfer frequency and add a memo for your records if you wish. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the verification process, then submit your transfer.

How long does it take for my funds to arrive from my deposit account? 

Transfers generally post to your Performance Finance account within two business days.

Are there late payment fees?

A late charge may be assessed if the payment is not received within 10 days of your due date.

Please refer to your Promissory Note/Retail Installment Contract for specific information regarding late charges and payment terms.

What is the difference between Performance Finance Auto Pay and Performance Finance Online Payment?

Performance Finance Auto Pay is a simple, convenient way to pull funds from your Old Second National Bank deposit account to pay your Performance Finance loan. This will ensure your regular monthly payment is on time every month. Once you have enrolled in Performance Finance Auto Pay, your payment is automatically deducted from your Old Second National Bank account each month. To set up Auto Pay, complete the form in the link below and call us at (855) 432-7720 to complete the set up. When your loan is paid in full, Auto Pay will automatically stop deducting from your bank account.

Performance Finance Online Banking offers Online Payment, a fast and easy way to make a single payment or monthly recurring payment plan using an external bank account (that is a bank that is not Old Second National Bank) that only you manage. If you set up recurring payments in Online Banking, you MUST CANCEL THE RECURRING PAYMENT YOURSELF when the loan is paid in full. Performance Finance is not able to stop recurring payments set up by you to your bank account.

When I make a Performance Finance Online Payment, how soon will it be deducted from my bank account?

All online payment requests submitted prior to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time on a Business Day will be applied to your loan account on the current business day, subject to processing. All online payment requests submitted after 5:00 PM Central Standard Time will show as “Pending” on your loan account until it posts on the next Business Day. The payments should be debited from your depository account within two business days from the date of submission.

Is there a charge for using Performance Finance Online Payment?

No, this convenient service is offered free of charge to Performance Finance customers. 

Once I sign up for Performance Finance Auto Pay, how soon will my payments be deducted?

Your payment will be automatically deducted each month on your regular due date. Please note that it can take several days to complete the authorization process, so be sure to continue making your regular payment until this process is complete. 

Is there a charge for using Performance Finance Auto Pay?

No, this convenient service is offered free of charge to Performance Finance customers. 

Can I discontinue Auto Pay?

Yes, you are free to discontinue Performance Finance Auto-Pay at any time. All you need to do is send a signed letter to your Performance Finance Customer Service Center requesting the auto pay to be canceled. The Performance Finance Auto-Pay will be discontinued in approximately 5-7 business days after receipt of your request.

NOTE: There is no need to discontinue Performance Finance Auto-Pay when your account is paid in full as the scheduled withdrawals will discontinue automatically.

Can I cancel a Performance Finance Online Payment?

Once your payment processes, it cannot be voided. However, if your payment has not processed yet, use the following steps to disable your recurring schedules or one-time payments: Click on 'Accounts' at the top of the page within online banking. Scheduled transactions and recurring payment schedules can be deleted by choosing the 'Delete' button to the right of the scheduled transaction/recurring schedule.

Do I have to cancel my Recurring Payment Schedule when my financing contract is finished?

If you set up your account on recurring payments within online you will need to log in and cancel the scheduled future payments.

Account Settings and Verifying Micro Deposits

I've linked my deposit account via 'Manual Verification'. How do I verify my micro deposits?

Manual Verification is a process that verifies ownership of your external account via two microdeposit transactions that should arrive in your external account within 1-3 business days. Check your external account for these deposits and once they appear, you will need the two deposit amounts for the next step. (Note: there will also be a debit to your account that totals the two deposits, which is how we offset the deposits. You do not need to remember this debit amount.) Next, enter the two deposit amounts by signing into your Performance Finance Online Banking account. In the upper right-hand corner, click your name, choose 'Settings' and go to 'Linked accounts' where you will find a green 'Verify' button next to the external account you linked. This is where you enter the two small deposit amounts. Click 'Confirm and activate account.'

How can I manage two factor authentication?

Your two factor authentication devices can be managed by going to 'Settings' and selecting 'Alerts & Security'. Please note: For security purposes, you might not be able to remove all of your two factor authentication devices.

How can I set up a transaction or balance alert?

You can set up transaction or balance alerts by going to 'Settings' and selecting 'Alerts & Security'. You can set up an alert to trigger based on a specific transaction keyword and/or amount. Additionally, you can set up an alert for a particular balance threshold.

How do I change the due date on my account?

A Loan Due Date Change Agreement must be completed and sent to Performance Finance for approval. The due date may be moved up to 10 days forward and may only be changed twice during the life of the loan. Approval is required and certain restrictions do apply.

What if I move to another state?

If you move to another state, you must re-register your vehicle and forward a copy of the registration card to Performance Finance within 30 days.

How do I re-register my vehicle?

Contact the Department of Motor Vehicles in your state for the necessary documentation needed for re-registration. 

How do I change the address or telephone number on my account?

You can do this online, mail a written request to Performance Finance, or contact Customer Service by phone.

How do I change my name on my account?

Provide legal documentation of the name change to Performance Finance Customer Service.

If I make changes to my Performance Finance account online, when will the information be updated?

In Online Banking, you can update your address, phone number, email, username, and password. These changes are effective immediately. If you prefer, you are welcome to call Customer Service and a representative will be able to update your address, phone number or email for you. Changes made through Customer Service will be effective the following day.

Can I change my bank information once I've set up Performance Finance Auto Pay?

Yes. In order to update your banking information, such as to change the Old Second deposit account, complete our Form and either mail, fax, or email to Customer Service. Allow at least 14 days prior to your next payment due date for the change to take effect.

Can I cancel a Performance Finance Online Payment?

Once a Performance Finance Online Payment has been submitted it may not be cancelled.

Am I able to refinance through Performance Finance?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer loans directly. Please contact your local credit union or other local lender for refinancing opportunities.

Payoffs

How can I get a payoff quote?

Log in to Online Banking to view your 10-day payoff amount or you can contact Customer Service to receive a quote at (855) 432-7720. Click on the account that you would like to view a 10-day payoff for. Next, click 'More details' in the 'Loan details' section. In the list, you will find the 10-day payoff, Per diem (the amount of interest you pay each day), and Payoff good through date.

Will I receive a title and lien release after my loan is paid in full?

This depends on the vehicle and the state. Not all vehicles financed by Performance Finance have a title or lien release for us to send because not all powersports vehicles, such as off-road vehicles, watercraft or snowmobiles are titled.
